*Food *Intuition *Remedies - Garlic and Broccoli Sprouts

I have recently had a few food items on my mind. These two food items have just been popping into my mind. It’s not like I ate them much historically, but for some reason they kept jumping into my thoughts. The first was Garlic and the second was Sprouts (in particular Broccoli Sprouts).

A few months back I decided to plant a whole heap of Garlic (I think about 20 plants). Then I started to buy Broccoli Sprouts from the farmers market and, subsequently purchased organic broccoli seeds and started growing my own.

The Garlic plants were well established as were the many seed pots full of sprouts on the window sill. I then had a thought “I wonder if these foods are good for Scleroderma?”

After a thought like this comes the obvious Google search “best diet for Scleroderma” and I ended up on the Eva Hill Nutrition web page.

Bingo, the Healing Foods section talks of certain foods that have the ability to activate the transcription of over 500 genes in our DNA. Guess of two of the list of 7 were (below taken directly from Eva Hill web page:

  • “Isothiocyanates from cruciferous vegetables, especially broccoli sprouts;”

  • “Sulfur compounds from allium vegetables (garlic);”

I can’t say there were any major synchronicities regarding Garlic or Sprouts, but rather just thoughts that kept popping into my mind. Synchronicity or intuition, it doesn’t really matter. The result is I was directed to where I needed to be.
